This program was introduced in May 2021 with a cap of 90,000 spots. Those workers or

international students in Canada who had 1 yr of legally authorised work experience in

Canada , and minimum English/French language proficiency of at least CLB 4 / 5 were

eligible.

The IRCC is expected to re-launch this program , and it’s advised to have your

language tests taken and passed successfully.

Those who applied in 2021 , and not yet received PR decision , have been given Bridge

open work permits till Dec 2024.
