Study Permit

Study Permit

In 2019, Canada hosted about 500,000 international students, and in 2020
about 60,000 students became Permanent residents.
Amongst all the English-speaking countries like the USA, UK, Australia and New
Zealand, Canada has emerged as the favorite choice for international studies.
This is due to the high quality of education, with uniquely Canadian attributes,
and the pathway to Permanent Residency offered, after finishing your studies
here.
Many Colleges and universities enable their students to get a Post Graduate
Work Permit (PGWP) for up to 3 years after finishing the school. Then the
experience gained with this work permit proves very useful to get Canadian work
experience points in Express Entry, and finally get the PR invitation.
We assist students in making their applications to Colleges and choose the right
program of study for their financial needs and preference. It can be a competitive
process, but with good scores in IELTS or CELPIP (6 bands), you can qualify for
the priority selection under Student Direct Stream for countries like India, China,
Vietnam, Pakistan and Philippines.
After getting the Admission letter from the College with designated learning
institute (DLI) number, we prepare your application for the Study Permit.
However, not every DLI automatically means that you get the work permit, so we
work with you to make the right selection of College.
With our vast academic experience and knowledge, our advice will prove very
useful in making the right decisions. We guide you at every step of this process
to ensure a successful Study Permit application.
To qualify for it, the following conditions need to be met:
● Student’s age above 18 years.
● Program of study should be over 6 months duration from a college (also called
school in Canada), that has a DLI number.
● Have a letter of admission, and prove enough funds for studies and living
expenses.
Work allowed during studies:
● 20 hours per week during the studies, and 30 hours per week during vacations
and breaks.
● Your spouse or Common Law Partner is eligible to get an Open Work Permit
